Inspirational Story of ‘Votes’ Trensains High School, Short Film Champion in the Regency

Tebuireng.online— Trensains High School again made achievements at the National Student Arts and Literature Competition Festival (FLS3N) at the Jombang Regency level. In a short film competition held on Friday (6/13/2025), at Darul Ulum 2 High School Peterongan, the Trensains High School Representative Team won 2nd place with a work titled Cross Voice.

This 3 -minute 40 -second film was worked on by three core members: Aryasatya Putra, M. Razfa Utama, and Naufalus Sabiq. They were also assisted by three additional members during the shooting process, making the total crew totaling six people. Arya, a student from Kediri who was the guest speaker in the interview, explained about the flow of this film who raised the story of Alden, a former punk child who returned to the path of goodness thanks to the message of his late father.

“He has been left by his father, then his father used to advise being a good and right person, that was the motivation for him to continue to be a common motivator under him,” explained Arya representing the team.

This film was born from a fairly dense but efficient process. “Making a one-night manuscript, shooting one full, editing 4” every 5 days editing 2 hours at school, “he said. Even so, they also experienced obstacles in the production process. “The choice of shooting places that had been rejected, and finally got a house loan around Jombok here,” he explained. They chose not to take locations at school because of technical considerations and previous experience. “The reason why not shooting at school because 1 full year has been made the property of the house of the cottage, and others are less than optimal.” He explained

Cross -sound films were born from the school internal selection process. “Making the team first, after that was a presentation of the concept of the manuscript, and thank God our team was chosen,” said Arya. The shooting process was carried out in mid -May, with editing completed on June 8 and film delivery on June 9. They then presented their work before the jury on June 13.

The big theme raised in this year’s FLS3N is * “inspired the country with the habits of great children in order to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045.” Arya said that the power of their films lies in the simplicity of the ideas that are conveyed strongly. “Because the average story is simple but mind blowing,” he said.

In the assessment, aspects assessed include story lines, video collection techniques, and messages conveyed. Additional values ​​are also given from the team presentation. The Trensains High School team is only 10 points adrift of 1st place, namely SMAN 2 Jombang, with a score of 490 compared to 480. “Lack of hockey a little, Ma’am because the problem loses 10 points from SMADA Jombang 490 to 480,” he said. In total there were 16 teams participating in this competition.

Regarding the plan going forward, Arya revealed that he and the team will focus on academics, especially because they are currently in 12th grade. “For while grade 12 wants to focus on academics, because full exams and practice, then the intention is to make your own business like freelance wedding or prewedding later on vacation.”
